Equipment and Resources Workgroup

Primary Focus: Provide a venue for healthcare organizations and response partners to review current equipment and resource needs in the OMHCC region.

• Determine sustainability and need for OMHCC-funded resources.

• Complete periodic healthcare resource assessments for the OMHCC region.

• Identify health care resources and services at the regional level that could be coordinated and shared (both HCC-funded and other).

• Compare available resources and current HVA(s) to identify gaps and help prioritize HCC and HCC member activities.

• Ensure the OMHCC is capable of tracking resources and services and sharing that information with all of its members.

• Periodically review and update current inventories and plans.

• Review and document strategies for the acquisition, storage, rotation with day-to-day supplies (including policies relating to the activation and deployment of the HCC stockpile), and disposal of HPP-funded equipment and/or supplies.
